Boarding guests spend their days in daycare, so every first stay begins with an evaluation. We use it to make sure Seaside is the right fit for your dog: the right group, the right pace, the right people. If it isn’t, we’ll say so.

BEFORE THEIR FIRST STAY
What are the health requirements?
Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella vaccinations are required; canine influenza is strongly recommended. We also require a town license and rabies tag, a clean fecal sample, and monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. Dogs should be in good general health and free of contagious conditions.
Does my dog need an evaluation to board?
Yes. Every overnight includes full-day daycare, so we do a behavioral evaluation first to make sure group play is a good fit.
Can my puppy board?
Puppies must be at least 16 weeks old with core vaccines complete. Dogs over 12 months must be spayed or neutered.
Can I check on them at night?
Yes. Every evening of their stay we text you a link to their suite camera, so you can peek in while they rest.
